Make a junk e-mail account. This will keep you sane when all of those advertising companies keep sending you advertisments years after you completed the survey.
This is an absolutely must for anyone thinking about doing surveys. Download roboform and use it to its fullest. Roboform is a program that stores your information and with the click of a button you can automatically fill in most of the blank fields on a survey. You can create multiple profiles. It is best if you create a profile exclusively for survey use with your junk e-mail account. This cuts down on survey time by at least a minute, more if you are a slow typist.
CCleaner should become your best friend, without it, well, you are wasting your precious time. Every time you visit an advertisers website they place a cookie on your computer. So that, if you complete one survey with a particular advertiser and than complete another survey that happens to have the same advertiser you will now be potential disqualified from earning money from that survey, even if you complete other things. CCleaner allows you to click one button and remove all of your cookies. You should be using it after every survey
Here is a huge time saver Survey companies try to trick you by having you complete more than the survey. During the course of what you think is the survey if you pay attention to the url it will often change. At this point you are offering them your time for free as the survey has ended. I am always careful to watch the address bar especially if a survey has lasted longer than 5 maybe 10 minutes.
Silver offers are complete ripoffs, never do one, no matter if they promise you will have a million dollars, or a free laptop. These offers require you to sign up for ridiculous services at the end. The first offers are reasonable, but you must complete around 5-10 and the last ones are things liek two year contracts with direct tv with a full package. Move on, collect your money for your survey, dont pay them a dime
Hold the ALT key and hit the “+” symbol. This trick will mark all of the offers on the page as no, so that you dont have to take the tedious task of clicking on them one by one. This only works in Mozilla. Make sure to click yes on at least one offer (it is usually required)
